Taco Bake

This recipe is somewhat a mixture of a taco pizza (without the crust) and that 7 layer taco dip. Works well as a hearty appetizer to take to your football tailgate party or as a last-minute meal. You can use canned refried beans or make your own in the crock pot! I’ll work on taking a better picture next time I make it! 🙂



Taco Bake

2-3 cups refried beans
1 lb ground beef, brown and seasoned with taco seasoning
1 cup salsa
1 cup sour cream
3-4 cups lettuce, chopped
Cheese, shredded

Optional: green chili, tomatoes


Spread refried beans on bottom of a 13 x 9 inch pan.
Layer ground beef, salsa, sour cream, lettuce, and cheese.
Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until cheese is melted and heated through.

Serve with tortilla chips.
