Pan-Fried Cauliflower

Have you ever tried pan-frying vegetables instead of steaming? I’m always looking for new ways to fix vegetables and I’ve made several variations of this. I’ve pan fried cauliflower, cabbage, onions & potatoes, squash, & zucchini. I usually do a mixture of salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and/or paprika on my veggies, but there are numerous options for spice combinations. Try out some of your own and let me know which is your favorite!


Pan – Fried Cauliflower

1/2 – 1 head of cauliflower, chopped
Olive or coconut oil
Onion powder (or onions)
Garlic powder (or garlic)


Heat oil in a large skillet on med heat.
Add cauliflower and sprinkle with salt, pepper, and other spices per your taste.
Cook until just slightly tender and browned, stirring frequently (about 5-8 minutes).


As I said above, feel free to mix up the spices and vegetables you use. Be creative!
